Do I have to sign a long or short-term service contract?
No. We know we must earn your trust and approval each time we visit your home. That is why Carvalho’s Cleaning does not ask you to sign a contract. We depend on open communication and your honest evaluation of our service. We appreciate when you let us know how we can serve you better.
Are you insured, licensed and bonded?
Yes, Carvalho’s Cleaning Services, is fully insured and licensed. All of our employees are bonded. If you would like more information, simply ask. We understand that your home is one of your most valuable possessions. We treat it that way, by handling your home, your key and your belongings as if they were our own. When you invite our Carvalho’s Cleaning team into your home, you can be completely confident in your decision. Even if you aren’t home when we come to clean, rest assured that we keep your key safe and secure throughout the cleaning process. We value the trust that you place in us.
Do you provide cleaning supplies/chemicals/equipment?
We use all of our own cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment. If you have a specific product that you would like us to use, we will gladly accommodate your wishes.
Do I have to do anything before my scheduled cleanup?
Essentially, you are paying for cleaning time. You can save money by straightening up before we come, so we can spend our time doing what we do best… get right to the cleaning.
What if something is damaged during the cleaning?
We treat your home with complete care and respect. However, should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning, Carvalho’s Cleaning will make every effort to repair or if necessary, replace the item. When appropriate, insurance claims will be filed.
If I sign up for a recurring service will I always have the same person in my home?
We leave nothing to memory. Each home is treated with special care. We take detailed notes about each home and we always double-check our notes before leaving your home. A regularly assigned team will clean your home. All employees are uniformed, insured, and bonded.
What if I need to change my scheduled cleaning?
Flexibility. We understand that you may need to change the cleaning day once in a while. Just contact us about 24 hours before and we will rearrange a new day. We are very flexible. If your scheduled cleaning falls on a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service.
What about cancel a scheduled cleaning visit?
If you need to cancel a scheduled cleaning visit we appreciate a 24-hour notice. When short notice is given, we may need to charge a $25 fee if the team cannot be reassigned.
What time will Carvalho’s Cleaning be at my home?
Our normal workdays are Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We will make every effort to meet your needs.
Can I get references?

How do I pay for the service?
Most customers find it convenient to simply leave a check in the home, made payable to Carvalho’s Cleaning. If you prefer, we are also accept debt cards and most credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). Payment is made on the day of each cleaning visit.
Can I get a free estimate?
Yes, we are happy to provide personally estimates for your convenience. This is a good way to get a better understanding of your home, its cleaning requirements and your cleaning needs. How could a first time cleaning take longer and be more costly?
The first time we visit your home it is new to our team members. They must learn the layout, knick knacks and any specific needs your home requires. By providing you with this extra attention the first cleaning, we can continue regular “maintenance” visits once it has been thoroughly (detailed) cleaned the first time. After the 2nd visit the right amount of time will be set up for regular visits.
What if I’m not satisfied with the service?
If you are not completely satisfied, we gladly return and re-clean whatever is in question at no additional charge, guaranteed. If you see something that’s not up to par, just let us know within one business day after the cleaning. We promise to correct it by returning at the earliest possible moment, without a bit of hassle.
