An organized bedroom is the key to cultivating a balanced, happy and relaxed state of mind. But these days, flat-screen TV’s, kid’s toys, computers and exercise machines have turned our supposed oases of serenity into all-purpose family rooms. To reclaim your sanctuary, limit bedroom activities to dressing, romancing, reading and of course, resting.

Your bed is the integral part of your bedroom. The mattress itself, as well as the bedding and pillows on top, all work together to create a relaxing place to sleep and unwind after a long day. Since you spend so many hours on your bed over the course of your lifetime, shouldn’t it be as healthy as possible? By choosing the right materials, you can create a safe haven that wraps you in luxury every time you lie down at night.

Your budget can play a major role in what type of mattress you will buy, including where you purchase it from and what materials are used. What-ever your requirements and your lifestyle, though, there are ways to make this major home investment much healthier and safer.
